Water Polo by the Sea is an annual event now in its third year and brings together some of the world’s best water polo players for an international all star team to take on our very own Aussie Sharks Men’s Water Polo team.
Held at Dawn Fraser Baths in Balmain and Bondi Icebergs club at the iconic Bondi Beach in Sydney, the event has produced a very strong following showing off the wonderful sport of water polo. It has quickly grown to become one of the must-do events in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs.
Rent a Space Self Storage has been a strong supporter of this initiative and Australian sport through sponsorship and the use of their truck and drivers and self storage facilities to move and store all of the sporting goods, event furniture, goals and VIP marquee items.
Rent a Space staff all enjoyed a strong team bonding session at the event with drinks and canapés on the exclusive Icebergs Dining balcony to view the Aussie Sharks beat the International All Stars in a thrilling penalty shoot-out finale. After the event, staff were able to mingle with some of the greats of world water polo – a truly unique way to welcome 2014!
